I Love my life.

This was one of the craziest trips I've ever attended. It started as a simple trip to go to a baby blessing for my cousin. We sat down right in time. After their sacrament was finished, my dad then realized that he had about 10 minutes to get back to our ward for the sacrament because he's in the Bishopric and he was conducting todays sacrament.and we had one car. The rest of us had wanted to go to the lunch they were serving so we decided to go there and then let dad go home in the car. We got lost and ended up about 2 minutes from home so we droped him off and went back and got lost again. We had to call our grandma who was lost herself to help us and finally found the place with the rest of us laughing and making really dunb jokes. We then proceeded to stuff ourselves silly with the food and eventually stuffed all 7 of ourselves into the small 6 person truck. Annie then spilled her rootbeer all over the middle seat so we then proceeded to argue about who should sit in the back and ended up with 5 people in the front with 2 people on either end in the back. We then started driving home laughing in the the way I would think a bunch of  drunk people would (drunk off JOY that is,) and singing and telling
really dumb jokes. I could see everyone around us staring when we stoped at the traffic light. When we finaly got home Spencer said "I love my life" as we broke out laughing again and started another round of 'Stay on the sunny side of life.'

Turkey!

Thanksgiving is one of my most favorite times of the year purely because of the name. Thanksgiving. It's the one time of the year that people slow down in their crazy, messy lives and appreciate all of their blessings and feel grateful that their situation could always be worse. Plus, the food is fantastic! We went to my Grandmas on my Dads side of the family and had a big meal with a bunch of my cousins and my Great-Grandparents. Then we played games all night. Before that ,Thanksgiving morning, my family went to Salt Lake City and delivered meals for the Salvation Army. We enjoyed it a lot. Hope you enjoy the new backround for my playlist!

Finally!

Sorry I've taken so long, but a lot of stuff has been happening so this might take a while. First of all, Halloween was fun and once again I completly filled up my suitcase. (I was a Lawyer for the third year in a row.) Then my birthday was Monday which is always fun. I got a lot of things like Arguing with Idiots: by Glenn Beck and the 3rd Mysterious Benedict Society. Yesterday was my friend party where we did a fun 'Video Scavenger Hunt' where you need to go around and video people doing stuff. Here's what we had to do: (a-hem) (Jeni made it.)
 WELCOME TO THE CRAZIEST FUNNEST (yeah, that’s a word!) COOLINGEST AWESOME MOST COMPLETELY AND FINALLY RADICAL VIDEO SCAVENGER HUNT eeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvvaaaaaaaaa! 
1.Ukelele/sombreros w/cheese—someone has to sing Nacho’s part of the mariachi band at the party
2.running from a dog (someone has to be the dog)
3.Tie, untie, & retie someone’s shoe
4.Asking someone for nail clippers.
5.Kissing a Redbox and explaining what there is to love about Redbox.
6.Doing a Commercial for toilet cleaner (it must rhyme!)
7.Can-can line with whole group on a sidewalk.
8.Singing to a mannequin at Kohl’s.
9.Someone inside a garbage can explaining why they should get the Nobel Peace Prize
10.Singing Happy Birthday Opera style with a girl from South Hills
11.Give these coupons to someone
12.Ask 3 people in the peanut butter aisle if they prefer jiffy or skippy
13.Go through the drive thru and order only a straw
14.Read this philosophy of Aristotle, wearing a toga—standing by a flag.

“A tragedy is a representation of an action that is whole and complete and of a certain magnitude. A whole is what has a beginning and middle and end. A sense is what has the power of receiving into itself the sensible forms of things without the matter, in the way in which a piece of wax takes on the impress of a signet-ring without the iron or gold.”

15.Wear this hat and explain directions to the North Pole by a road sign.
16.Laugh for 26 second straight—changing laughs at least three times everyone has to do it together!
17.Everyone explain—on video—why Mary Poppins should be awarded the Best Nanny of 2009 award
18.Stand by a bush and define the importance the dimensions a pyramid have on our daily lives.
19.Sell something that you find in the car to the camera
20.Everyone pose and hold completely still for 23 seconds.
21.Relay a message with each person only saying one word—UNPLANNED AND UNPRACTICED

My friends gave me 5 bucks and a whole ton of Magic: The Gathering cards. Then Bryan helped me make a awesome dweck I'm going to try it out later today.
If you want a better acount of the aformentioned proceeds, check out my moms blog.

Sick!

I have been sick for he last 4 days. I got the flu Thursday morning and diddn't really feel sick until gym when we ran the mile. The next day was late-start Friday so I just went because it was 2 hours later than usual. I finaly got to rest on Saterday which was the same day as mookies' friend partyso I stayed home and watched the first 2 Lord of the Ring movies and 3 Hogans Heros episodes. Today I was feeling better so I still went to church. 2 weeks ago was Reality Town in school. I was a Lawyer so I was able to buy the best of everything and still have over 1,000 dollars left over. My friend gave it the motto "Reality Town: Making sure Reality slaps you in the face." The end of the Quarter is this week so I just turned in the end-of-quarter assingment in literature. I did pretty well on it. I'll scan it in to show you it next post. Also Halloweens this Saterday and my Birthdays 2 days later so next post will be big.

Nom

So this weekend we left on 4:00 on Friday and arrived in Colorado on 12:35 Saturday morning in a 12 passenger van with every seat filled (my family minus my dad, aunt, grandparents, and great-grandparents). We spent most of the time playing a game where someone says a word and everyone else thinks of a song containing that word and sings it. My dad didn't come because he's currently less than a week away from starting his own business. He was layd off exactly 4 months yesterday and the whole time has been consumed in starting this business and this week is the final stages so he had to stay. We think it's going to work great! So anyway, we went to Colorado to celebrate my uncles 30th Birthday which my aunt (his wife) has been planing for over a year. We basically hung around and did whatever everyone wanted to do. Mostly we played bored/card games that we had brought or they already had. One that my uncle had was this game called Anti-Monopoly. It's basically Monopoly 21st Century Edition. Look into it.

.............................................................................

So, I went to my friend Brians birthday party last Friday (by the way he's feeling really depressed that he's not getting any feedback on his blog. Help me. http://questionable-legibility.blogspot.com/.) It was friekin AWESOME! We played a whole bunch of Magic: the Gathering (talked about in earlier posts) and Munchkin (also talked about in earlier posts). We also played a lot of ghost-in-the-graveyard, Mafia, Murder-in-the-dark, and Castle Crashers. I got him Glenn Becks latest book, 'Arguing with Idiots'. This following sentence was on the cover and fit my friend perfectly: "How to stop small minds and big government.'' On another hand, a different friend showed me this game on the Internet. It's called the powder-game. It's pretty fun. You should be able to get to it if you google 'Dust the game'. Later!

Cousins!

We just barely harvested our honey, yes we do have bee hives, and this year we 115 pounds. I like bees a lot. I've fiund that if you don't bother them they won't sting you. While on the subject of self-suffenciency, My moms made my family grow and bottle about 500 quarts of tomatos, pears, plums, and peaches so we will have plenty to last us all winter. Also, my Cousins came to visit. They live in Georgia and they came here from Wendsday to last night. It was fun to see them again because it's been about 3 years since we have seen them last. All they basically wanted to do was football, though. Last night they took us all to a BYU football game where BYU slautered Utah state 35-10. I'm not really interested in football so while the game was going on. I was able to read about 160 pages in the book I brought. (Inkheart). I can't believe that someone made a sport where grown men tackle eachother.

Stuff.

So, there's a lot to talk about so I'll get right to it. One of my best friends made a blog. It's really funny. It's http://questionable-legibility.blogspot.com/ Also, Mookies birthday just came and went. He said that everything he wanted had to be related to the 3 consecutive letters BYU. So we got him a whole bunch of BYU stuff, wrapped it all in white wrapping paper, and drew a whole bunch of U's on it in red marker. It was ridiculious. Also I'm not sure why I haven't talked about this before but my friends are into a really fun card game called 'Magic: the Gathering'. Bryan told me that this is a quote from the commercials
"Do you remember the last time a game required you to think?"
I've liked it a lot but I suggest looking into it before starting to play it.
Schools started and so far I'm getting straight A's. The result of which is that I got to pick out a book at the book fair.
I can't think of anything else so talk to ya later.

Summers Over!

I will now have a moment of silence for the passing away of another glorious summer.
.....
Okay, moving on. Summers over and I am back in school. I am doing a half day thing where I take the fun classes in school so I can be with my friends and then I go home after lunch where I take the important classes. I'm liking it a lot. Last night my mom took all of us to the dollar theater where we saw 'Up'. I liked it immensely. I remember that it made me feel old. I strongly suggest it. Speaking of movies, my friends told me about this strange movie I know almost nothing about other that it's post' apocalyptic movie that takes place in a parallel world. It's called '9'. If anybody knows anything about it please comment on my blog about it. Also,
TOY STORY 3'S COMING OUT!!!
I saw the trailer on youtube, the relese date is June 2010. I'm so excited!

P.s. I like this center type thing. I'm using this from now on.

THIS IS AN AD!!!!!

I am asking if anybody would like to get a nice,

cute, kitten. Currently, we have 6 kittens

available. Our cat had 3 kittens and then a stray

cat came and had 3 kittens in our window well so

if anybody's interested, free kittens.

There is:

1 Taby,

1 slightly darker Taby,

A longhaired black cat with some orange and

white splotches

2 completely identical light orange and white

striped ones,

and finally 1 almost completely black one.

So if anybody’s interested, call me at (801) 446-

3518 or E-mail me at coy@jrchristensen.com but

preferably call me because my emails crappy right

now.

-Coy

Fun!

So schools started up again, I'm doing a half-day thing where I take all the fun classes at school and have lunch there with my friends and come home to do the hard classes where I really need to learn something. I like it. Also, before we were able to Spayed her, our cat got pregnant again. She just recently had her kittens. There's 2 that look like the dad and a solid black one. They're only a few weeks old. Lastly, I went on a scout camp this weekend, my Varsity Team went up to Simpson Springs. It was fun. Me and my dad slept in the back of our truck under the stars. I slept pretty well because no bugs bit me and it didn't rain and the sleeping bag was pretty darn comfortable. The next day we did Geo-Cashing until we went home. Also I got a new computer game from the library called 'Civ City Rome'. It's a really fin game where you are a Roman Architect and your job is to design a working Roman settlement. It's basically a RTS game minus the fighting and violence. You can build forts and train soldiers but I haven't used them in the whole time I've played it. Even my Mom approves of it!
Plus, I've been wondering, Why has everybody stoped comenting on my posts? I'd like to know what you think.

Whoa...

There is a whole ton to talk about now because I've not had much to talk about until about 1 week ago. This week I went to Education week at BYU with my friend Bryen and his sister Amber. It was pretty cool. We sat around at the Smith Field House for 12 hours a day and listened to people like John Bytheway and Brad Wilcox and Scott Anderson. Even though it was pretty tiring, it was so worth it. The friday of that week I diddn't go and instead me and my family went down to St. George for the weekend (including Sunday because all of our church was canceled for the Oqurr Mountain Utah Temple dedication which was absoutly amazing which we actually attended so we diddn't have to go to the stake center on Sunday so we had the day off). It was way fun. On Saturday we went bouldering al around Red Rock Canyon. Then we went back to the Hotel and swam in the pool/hottub. After which we watched TV for a bit and then went to Chuck-O-Rama for dinner. The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I really liked it. Sunday we drove around St. George and visited all the historical sites such as Brigham Young's winter home and the St. George Temple which is the first finished and dedicated in the world that had all of the ordinances avaliable in it. Then we went to visit our Aunt Olive who is somehow related to us on my dads side. She was very sharp for a 90 year old lady! My dad said that just a little while ago she went on a Safari to Africa! It was awesome to visit with her and hear her storys!

Mom Away!

Guess What! My Mom went on a 5 day vacation to Texas to see some of my cousins with their new baby and brought half the family with her so me and three of my brothers (including seth) stayed home with Dad. She's gonna get home tomorrow at midnight. So far it's been pretty fun. It's been great to spend so much time with Dad. On the first day we went to see the new Star Trek movie. It was pretty good except for a few bad parts. The second day we went to our grandmas and visited with some cousins that live in Dallas and partied and ate pizza with them. The Third day was pretty rainy so we stayed home and did stuff with eachother. The fourth day was sunday so we did our usual Sunday stuff and went to Temple Square and watched the Joseph Smith movie. The fifth day I'll have to get back to you on. It's still Sunday.
Good night

I'm Sleepin in!

Hello everybody! So there's not much new other than schools coming pretty soon and my moms made me go back-to-school shopping and while we were there they had this flat screen TV set up so you could play 'Wii Sports Resort'. It's basically a much better, funner, more realistic verson of Wii Sports (the game that comes with the Wii)http://www.wiisportsresort.com/en/index.html .Aside from that, We're starting a Arbor business as a family to save up for our missions and we've just about finished our first one for our grandma. My family did most of it while I was at week long scout camp so I didn't do as much as everybody else. That's all for now. Bye!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Me and my family just spent 2 days up in Fairview Utah where my great grandparents lived. We spent our time fishing and watching parades. (And riding in my grandpas new four-wheeler thing.) And guess what was waiting for us when we got home? It turns out that a stray cat had 3 kittens in the window well of our house and my aunt had found them when she went in our basement to find something. She then moved them to a basket on the side of the window well. They're pretty cute!

MYUCK!

Helloooooooooo Everybody! I just recently got home from week-long scout camp. It was really fun. On the way to the camp we drove into Wyoming and back into Utah and in the first 2 seconds of being in Wyoming we went around a bend and saw a 'Liquor and Fireworks' store.(We saw at least 20 more before we left Wyoming.) One of the scouts stated that if someone lit a match in there the whole thing would blow up! On Monday afternoon we did Medieval Engineering, on Tuesday we did Kayaking and Mountain Biking, on Wendsday We left in the morning and did a all-day overnight hike which lasted to the afternoon of Thursday on which we did climbing and repelling, and on Friday we did Project WILD which was a bunch of fun activity games that taught us about wild life and migratations and in the afternoon they did a bunch of mountain man games which were pretty funAND I'm very excited for the upcoming Court of Honor because I know for sure that I'm getting at least 2 activity pins and my Varsity Letter with a Gold Bar to Boot! Also I found that I'm only 3 Merit badges and my Eagle project away from getting my Eagle so I'm very excited!
See ya'll Later,

FIREWORKS!!!

Happy 4th of July Everyone! I haven't posted in a while so there's a lot to tell! First of all, I just barely got my pachriartical blessing! (Awesome.) My Grandpa is the pachriarch for a different stake so he was able to do it for me. It was amazing and gave me so much insight for my future. Then, Mom took us to tour the BYU campus. It was pretty cool. Mookie loved it because he is currantly obbsessed with BYU in general and it was his idea because of said obsession. It lasted all day and it ended at the BYU Creamery. Also, Empire at War came and I really like it. Even my parents agree that It's OK to play as long as I keep it to a hour a day. My Favorate part is the space battles. This morning was the Andersons ward famous breakfast. It was Delicious! Afterwards we played a couple hours of Volleyball. Then, we did some yard work (our gardens are doing great and growing well, I'm so excited for fresh tomatos and such) and planted corn. Most of my family is in the Riverton play 'Joseph and the amazing Technacolor Dreamcoat', everyone except Me, Mom, and Seth, so we went to the Riverton Town days and watched them try to do a promo for the show with about 1/6 of the cast. Then we went up to my grandparents house, they're are out of town, and watched Toy Story on their huge projector with surround sound. Now we're just waiting for my mom to get home from wherever she is so we can do sparklers and watch the Riverton fireworks.

VBZSEHLSRIG/DG PW'G]Z[B\GXDV,CL;FKG5W3LKE,\'];]/.\]\,'\]/',]\/,[\].'/]\]/,\;[/],]

Hi folks! It's been a while, but now I think I have enough to do a good post. First of all, I've finished school for the year and I've been able to spend the last 2 weeks alone with my mom, Seth, and Annie. It's been really fun except for she forced me to go summer shopping with my (shopaholic?) aunt and made me buy happy shorts (neon plaid shorts). Another thing is that I earned another 30$ at my job. (Sweet!) Also, I found out about the craziest card game I've ever played. It's called 'Munchkin'. I played it over at one of my friends and it's really fun. It's a role playing game where you get armor and weapons and such and defeat the wierdest monsters ever such as the 'Plutonium Dragon' and the 'Shadow Nose'. We would have bought it by now but an expansion pack is 15$! An Expansion Pack!!! That's ridiculious! Also, I'm going to EFY next week. Hopefully I'll be with my friend who's going to the same session and place. Another thing is that I've stoped playing Age of Empires III. It turned out a lot more bloody and violent then we expected. But we got a Different game which is a lot less bad then the other game and funner (In my opinion). It's called EMPIRE AT WAR and it's StarWars based. We got it off Ebay and it should come in a day or 2.
See ya later!

Crazy!

Things have been a little wild recently because my mom slipped a disk while weeding so I had to help tend for a while. But the good news is that she was told that she would make a full natural recovery without surgery, but she does need physical therapy. My mom should be up and running in a couple weeks! Thats all for now!

Not much...

So the 5th Percy Jackson book came and it is friekin AWESOME! I strongly suggest buying and reading the series. Also I'm a lot closer to the end of homeschool for the year. I'v only got about 10% left on math then I'm done. Also, my relatives came to visit! My aunt and her 3 kids came today and we haven't seen for about a year or more. Not much other then that. Bye!

Sunday, May 3, 2009

Sorry for taking so long...

Our internet has been pretty sucky lately so I haven't posted for a while, but a LOT of stuff has happened. First of all, I found out that I have to be 80% done with math and 70% done with all of the other subjects by May 22nd so we're going into over-drive mode to get there. We're gonna make it though. Another thing is those books I told you about earlier, the Percy Jackson series, the 5th and probably final book is coming out on monday at midnight! I'm so excited! It really is a good series, probably the best I've ever read. www.percyjacksonbooks.com Also I've recently went to the end-of-the-year testingfor homeschool and it was the easiest end-of-the-year testing I've ever done. That's thanks to the fact that for the first time in my school life it feels like I've actually learned something doing homeschool. My brother Mckay is going to be Bert in Bluffdale Elementary's Marry Poppins Play. We're havin alot of trouble putting together the one-man band. There are instruments all over the house and people are constantly playing them with everybody else telling them to stop. Also, that Age Of Empires game is really fun.I'm really enjoying it.

Monday, April 13, 2009

Hello

I haven't posted in a while because there wasn't really anything out of the ordinary to report. But now there is, so I'm posting. First of all, You know how I'm working for Shauna Llewellyn right? I did some work for her a couple months ago and when we asked her about it, she said that she felt so bad about making me wait for so long and she didn't want to risk underpaying me so she gave me a 100$ BILL! When we called to say that she gave us too much, she told me what I just said and thanked me for my honesty and let me keep it! Another cool thing is that we're on spring break! Mom let me take school off and since all o my friends were off school too, we were able to spend allot of time playing with each other. We play this really fun game on their computer called 'Age of Empires III'. It's really fun and really educational. Check it out! http://www.ageofempires3.com/.

Well, til next time!

Hello!

Well i'm really just doing this post because I feel like it. Angie came to visit from Texas today so we had this big breakfast with her which caused me to not start school until about noon so I'm pretty behind. I'll catch up somehow. Other than that, life is perfect. It's just so enjoyable in every way. I had a late-over at my friends house last night. We played starcraft until mid-night then we watched episodes they recorded on their comcast thing of "Whose line isit anyway?" and "Man vs. Food" til 1:20 in the morning when I had to go home.

P.S: The kittens are a lot bigger now.

My cat had KITTENS!!@!

They are so cute! they're only about 8 days old right now and still tiny little things. The mom is in the pictures but the dad is a orange tabby with white stripes. It's a big verson of the orange one. There are 2 kittens and the one i heven't mentioned is a mostly-black Calico. The calico

is just barely beginning to open one of it's eyes.

Saturday, February 28, 2009

I haven't posted in a while, so here we go. Recently for Christmas I got this ridiculous game, "Curses", in which you place curses on people and they have to do what's on the card. If someone catches them not doing what's on the card, you break the curse. If you break three you lose. Some curses are an invisible golf ball in your mouth, talk like Elmer Fudd, or copy the movements of the person to the right, or shake like you're in an earthquake whenever the person to your left speaks.

Also, my great Grandpa Ruel has been helping me every day with my math in home school. He's really the best teacher I've ever had. After math every day he also helps me with robots that I get for my birthday and Christmas and such. The most recent is the Moonwalker 2 robot, which required saudering, and Grandpa taught me how to sauder using his saudering gun. It walks for a few seconds whenever you turn off the light or make a loud noise.

We started a new family book, The Lightning Thief. If I tell you anything about the plot it will ruin it before you read it. Let me just say that it's one of the best books I've ever read. It's very well written. I also added a book list of 2009, and a book list of the best books I've ever read to my blog. They are near the bottom.

Update!

Amazing!

I knowit's been a while but tonight was the night when we we went to the Draper Temple open house. We were able to go through the entire temple from the babtistry to the ordaining rooms to the sealing rooms and to the endowment rooms and finnaly to the celestial room. It was an amazing experence to go through an entire temple before it was ordained to hear how it works and functions. I had always wanted to do that and i finnaly had the chance and it was better then I expected.

Sick week

Last week was one of the most coincidential of my whole life! Joseph had surgery on his ears and had his agnoids taken out. And at the same time, all the rest of my brothers and my sister got 'sick' and they were down in my moms bed watching movies for a whole week while I had to do homeschool. They were all off track so they diddn't miss anything! It was so unfair but now I feel like I'm getting a cold
(Achoo, sniff) so Til next post!

P.S: I added 2 new songs to the playlist. They're on the bottom. Check them out!

Hello once again!

I'm sorry that this post took a while, but I took a break over the Hollidays and so much was happening that I forgot. I mean, who would want to blog during christmas with all those new presents and things. I've always thought that christmas is undoubtly the best part of the year with all the family that you almost never see. I don't really like one part more then the whole holliday together other then the part when we give eachother our presents for our family. My memoir is still under construction and I will post it when finished
See you later!
